FAQs

What happens after I contact you?

1

I will contact you via email so that we can arrange a time for an initial consultation on the phone. During this phone call, you can share what has encouraged you to reach out, if you have any ideas about the kind of support you would like, and ask any questions. If us working together feels like the right fit, then we will book in a first session together…. but there is no pressure to do this during the initial phone call! Having time to digest and reflect is important too.

How long and how frequent are sessions?

2

Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes but sometimes a 90 minute sessions is required (as can be the case for occasional EMDR sessions). I recommend weekly sessions to begin and this can be reviewed as the therapy work starts, so that we can make a decision together about what best fits your needs.

Do you accept insurance coverage?

3

I am currently only accepting self-funded clients but will resume insurance coverage in due course. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me to discuss this further.

Where are you based?

4

I have a clinic space available in Mill Hill (NW7) but I typically work in London Colney (AL2) for in-person sessions. Alternatively, I offer remote sessions delivered on Zoom or Teams.
