Services

  • If you are considering therapy but are unsure whether it is the right fit, I offer a free 15 minute initial consultation. This provides an opportunity to talk through your difficulties, ask questions, and consider together whether therapy would be helpful for you.

  • If you’re struggling with negative thoughts, shame, or depression cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach for challenging negative thoughts and encouraging a more balanced way of thinking. CBT teaches that thoughts are not facts; just because you might think you’re doing a bad job, that does not mean you are. If you are hurting, there is hope.

  • EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. EMDR is a psychological therapy that helps your brain safely reprocess painful or distressing memories. It’s not about forgetting what happened but rather freeing you from being trapped by the past.

During EMDR, we use bilateral stimulation (eye movements or tapping) while focusing on specific memories or feelings. This process helps your brain file the memory correctly so it no longer triggers intense emotional or physical responses.

  • I also offer psychological assessments, formulation reports, and professional letters where appropriate. These can help provide a clearer understanding of an individual’s difficulties and outline helpful recommendations. Reports and letters can sometimes be used to support workplaces, schools, or other services in understanding psychological needs and making appropriate adjustments.

If you would like to discuss whether an assessment or report may be helpful, please feel free to get in touch.
